At CEDIA EXPO, SIM2 USA will be introducing its MICO 60C projector, which features PureLED light source output, the technology that separates light elements of red, green, and blue to provide a wider and more consistent color reproduction, with richer and more saturated colored images.
SIM2’s MICO 60C
The Grand Cinema MICO series was developed around TI’s Darkchip4 chip and DynamicBlack technology, which enables the MICO 60C to deliver a On-Full Off contrast of 100.000:1.
The MICO 60C, priced at $23,995, also is equipped with a liquid-cooling system that reduces its operating noise to an extremely quiet level, according to SIM2.
The company explains that the use of three separate light elements of red, green and blue, provides color reproduction that is 28-percent wider to NTSC, while also staying consistent over its life time with an average lumen decay of less than five percent after 2,000 hours
The MICO CONNECT 60 sits atop of the MICO Series with LAN and wireless connectivity. It includes features such as EasyLED Software for professional calibration and control.
The newly developed system takes advantage of the benefits of ethernet and wireless control capabilities, as well, SIM2 noted.
