How do you rate the Outcast System?
The OutCast speaker system is extremely flexible in its installation – and it sounds great. Both the Outcast and Outcast Jr. can be used when the job calls for a single speaker installation indoor or outdoor and where it is impossible to wire. I would rate the OutCast overall an 8+ (1-10 scale).
For what types of installations is it best suited?
The OutCast systems are ideal in both indoor or outdoor installations with standard AV product or can be used in a totally wireless installation such as with a Sonos to give the client an additional area of sound without need for any other amplification. And, it allows for an added zone with multi-source installed easily and quickly. It also works great for any job where musical sources are coming from your computer, iPhone, iPod, etc.
What is one feature of the Outcast System that stands out in your projects?
The ability to have a product that is easily installed and can be used with any music content source available via iPod, iTunes, or any other music source through your standard hardware or computer is valuable. OutCast is an easy and profitable add on to any job.
What features would you like to see changed or added?
Perhaps more color options and a new style look in the future. However, they showed custom speaker adhesive skin wraps at CEDIA Expo that can be ordered to any color, picture image or design that were very affordable. That was cool.
