Q&A with Matt Bernath, president, VITAL.
Why CEDIA Expo 2022?
It is the one place we can see most of our clients, friends, and partners to network and share ideas about the future of our industry. The energy and enthusiasm at the 2022 show is likely to be on a level we have not experienced in years. Dallas is a good venue and centrally located, which makes it ideal for participation and I expect the show to be well attended.
What is the most exciting trend you expect to see at the show?
It seems like lighting is going to be the big focus, especially with Dallas as the hub for many of the brands. VITAL is primarily focused on business excellence and thus the technology trends are not as exciting as the business trends. Ideally, I would like to see an emphasis on preparing businesses for the challenges we may face as an industry when the economic trends shift.
What will you focus on at the show?
Networking and building partnerships.
