#CEDIAShares: Leon Speakers

Leon Speakers shares what you'll see in its CEDIA 2018 booth after its acquisition of Terra.

In our series of #CEDIAShares blogs, we’re talking with exhibitors about the hottest technologies and trends they’re looking to see at CEDIA 2018.

Q&A with Noah Kaplan, Founder and President, Leon Speakers

Q: Why CEDIA?

Noah Kaplan: We’ve been exhibiting at CEDIA for many years now and we always look forward to the show. It gives us the opportunity to meet with our dealers face-to-face and show them what we’ve been working on over the past year. Nothing beats seeing new products in person and we love hearing feedback firsthand.

Q: What is the most exciting trend you expect to see at the show?

NK: It’s always been our vision to mix design with technology and we’re seeing that become more and more of a conversation in the industry. We approach all of our product development with design in mind, whether it’s our soundbars that blend into the display, our Media Décor Moving Art Screens that completely conceal the TV when it’s not in use, or one-of-a-kind-custom pieces that are designed to perfectly match the surrounding decor. Technology is here to stay, so it’s up to us, the manufacturers, to come up with creative solutions for integration.

Q: What will you focus on at the show?

NK: As always, there will be a lot to see at our booth. After our acquisition of Terra Speakers this past spring, we’ll have their full range of American-made outdoor audio in our booth for the first time, which we’re really excited to introduce to our dealer base. We’ll also be unveiling some updates and upgrades to a number of our current products, as well as introducing some new items to the line-up that show our continued commitment to both sound and style—and maybe a few things that we aren’t ready to reveal just yet.
