AVAD Sets Launch Date for Opportunity Tour Events AVAD has announced the dates and stops of their 2016 Opportunity Tour.By RS Staff Published: March 29, 2016 ⋅ Updated: April 15, 2019 AVADhas announced the dates and stops of their 2016 Opportunity Tour. The sixth annual roadshow will feature vendors with new products, exclusive incentives, raffles, giveaways, great food, and networking opportunities. At each 2016 Opportunity Tour, integrators can learn and demo new product offerings and will have the opportunity to ask vendors questions. The roadshow will feature products and solutions from Gefen, Niles, Panamax, Sunfire from Core Brands, AKG, Crown, DBX, JBL, Soundcraft from the HARMAN Group, JVC Professional, Lutron, MartinLogan, Peerless, Bose Professional, and Samsung with more brands to be confirmed prior to each event. Each Opportunity Tour event will begin with a short networking reception at 5:30 pm local time, and will be followed by one-on-one vendor opportunities where dealers can visit each vendors’ booth to ask questions, watch demos, and learn more about product offerings. The events, which will take place at AVAD branches, are set to conclude at 8:30 pm, with dinner being provided during the event. AVAD’s Opportunity Tour events are free for dealers to attend, with the first events taking place in Los Angeles on April 12th, and continuing to the rest of AVAD’s locations through June. “Our Opportunity Tour has been a widely appreciated event over the years and we are pleased to provide it yet again in 2016 for our dealers,” said Lei Lei Trock, senior marketing manager at AVAD. “Our one-night-only training events allow dealers to further develop their business by working with our vendors, receiving exclusive deals and incentives and enjoying a free dinner while networking with other dealers. In recent months, AVAD has been recognized for our stellar training programs and we will continue to give our dealers the tools they need to grow their business.” The 2016 tour marks the sixth year of Opportunity Tour events, which debuted in 2010 as an after-hours event bringing together AVAD’s dealer solutions and the combined resources of the industry’s leading manufacturers. Attendees will have the chance to take advantage of exclusive promos and take home raffle prizes. A grand-prize winner will be selected at the end of the tour and will be announced within two weeks of the conclusion of the event series.
