BitWise Controls has unveiled its brand new BitWise Room Remote.
The handheld remote can be used to control all BitWise-connected devices in a room. It includes keys for common audio and visual functions and, thanks to its utilization of an RF base station to connect with BitWise controllers, line-of-sight is not required.
The intuitive design allows a room to be controlled with the remote as well as by BitWise apps. The remote and apps stay in sync during use, which means a selection made via control app is automatically transferred to the remote and vice versa—so there is no need to re-select.
Now BitWise clients can enjoy the simplicity of a handheld remote, without foregoing the robust two-way interaction and whole-home control offered by the BitWise Touch app. Integrators will be able to add a Room Remote and RF receiver to any BitWise controller, and multiple remotes can communicate with a single RF receiver. Additionally, up to 255 remotes can be incorporated into an installation, making this a scalable option for commercial projects.
The BitWise Room Remote will be debuting at CEDIA EXPO (September 25-28, 2013) at the BitWise Controls booth, #3428.
