Q&A with Tim Bigoness, CMO/VP business development at D-Tools.
Why exhibit at CEDIA Expo/CIX 2025?
CEDIA Expo gives D-Tools the opportunity to showcase new features and enhancements for both of our award-winning software platforms: our vertical SaaS solution D-Tools Cloud and on-premises D-Tools System Integrator (SI). More importantly, the tradeshow is an opportunity for us to meet face to face with integrators and get feedback to help fuel the development of future improvements to the software. This personal interaction helps us maintain the focus on our mission to help integrators run better businesses.
What is the most exciting trend you expect to see at the show?
Artificial Intelligence is becoming much more prevalent in many products targeted at the integration channel, and D-Tools is at the forefront of that trend. At the show, D-Tools will be previewing some exciting new AI capabilities currently in development for D-Tools’ end-to-end software solutions.
What will you focus on at the show?
D-Tools will showcase several new groundbreaking features CEDIA Expo booth #3133. This includes D-Tools Cloud major upgrades to D-Tools Cloud for inventory, payments, and invoicing. Moreover, D-Tools will preview a new dedicated mobile app for D-Tools Cloud, as well as a new visual interconnect diagram experience.
Recently released D-Tools SI v23 includes advanced features for large-scale projects, including editable templates with Gantt charts, project status indicators, phased approvals, and custom payment terms. At the show, D-Tools will preview the new mobile install app for SI.
In addition to software demos, D-Tools invites attendees to enjoy fun booth activities, including a Happy Hour on Friday, Sept. 5, from 2–5:00 PM, along with several Manufacturer Training sessions as part of the CEDIA Expo conference agenda.
