Why exhibit at CEDIA Expo 2026?
CEDIA Expo is where the custom integration industry comes together to discover what’s next in the connected home. It’s an important opportunity for Alfred to meet directly with the integrators, builders, and technology partners who influence the products that get specified and installed.
We build smart locks that combine premium design with practical functionality. At CEDIA Expo, we can demonstrate how our solutions simplify installation, meet the needs of residential, MDU, and rental properties, and integrate into the broader smart home ecosystem. Just as importantly, it’s a chance to hear directly from our partners about where the market is headed and how we can continue delivering products that solve real-world challenges.
What is the most exciting trend you expect to see at the show?
The industry continues to move toward more open, connected ecosystems. Homeowners don’t want isolated devices. They want products that work together seamlessly, regardless of brand.
We’ll continue to see momentum around standards like Matter and Aliro, making interoperability and simpler deployment a reality. For integrators, that means greater flexibility when designing systems. For homeowners and property managers, it means a better user experience with fewer compatibility concerns. It’s an important shift that will accelerate adoption of the connected home.
What will you focus on at the show?
Our biggest focus will be introducing a new plug-in Wi-Fi module that simplifies connected access across our smart lock portfolio. Instead of relying on a separate Wi-Fi bridge installed near the lock, the new module installs directly into the back of the lock, providing built-in Wi-Fi connectivity in a much cleaner and more streamlined package.
It’s a significant improvement for both installers and homeowners. Setup is simpler, there’s less hardware to manage, and remote access becomes even easier to deploy. The new module reinforces our commitment to making smart access more intuitive while giving customers the flexibility to choose the connectivity option that best fits their installation.
