In our series of #CEDIAShares blogs, we’re talking with exhibitors about the hottest technologies and trends they’re looking to see at CEDIA Expo.
Q&A with Casey Clemens, senior director, Americas Professional, Sonos.
Why exhibit at CEDIA Expo 2026?
CEDIA Expo remains the single most important gathering spot for the custom integration community in the U.S. It’s where we reconnect with trusted partners, strengthen relationships with industry friends, and spark collaborations that drive the next wave of innovation. By bringing key stakeholders together under one roof, Expo gives us a rare opportunity to align our strategy with the needs of the channel, explore future partnerships, gather valuable insights from our dealers, and uncover new opportunities for growth. Equally valuable, it allows us to walk the floor, see firsthand what innovations are driving excitement, and better understand the evolving needs of integrators and designers. The insights we gain at CEDIA Expo help shape our vision, ensuring we stay ahead of industry trends and deliver meaningful solutions that truly matter.
What is the most exciting trend you expect to see at the show?
One of the most exciting trends we’re looking forward to at CEDIA Expo 2026 is the continued evolution of smart home ecosystems that work together seamlessly rather than as standalone products. At Sonos, we’re showcasing how our expanding ecosystem — including Amp Multi, Sonos Play, Era 100 SL, and Sonos Voice Control with native Lutron integration — creates a flexible, interoperable platform for whole-home entertainment. By connecting music, home control, and personalized listening experiences within a single ecosystem, integrators can design systems that are easier to install, simpler to expand over time, and better aligned with how homeowners actually live. We believe this shift toward unified, scalable solutions represents the future of residential integration, and we’re excited to demonstrate what’s possible at CEDIA Expo 2026.
What will you focus on at the show?
Sonos will introduce new products during CEDIA Expo that haven’t been shown before and won’t be announced until just before the show begins. Visitors will experience the Sonos ecosystem through demonstrations that highlight how products work together to create intuitive, immersive smart home and home entertainment experiences. Booth demonstrations will showcase distributed audio with Amp Multi, new home theater capabilities, and synchronized voice control of audio, lighting, and shading through the new native Lutron integration. Beyond product demonstrations, attendees will be able to participate in professional training sessions covering Amp Multi, the latest software updates, networking and troubleshooting best practices, and other topics designed to help integrators maximize system performance. The Sonos team will also be available throughout the show to discuss system design, deployment strategies, and new business opportunities.
