CEDIA Shares: NETGEAR

NETGEAR shares what the company will showcase at CEDIA Expo 2019.

In our series of #CEDIAShares blogs, we’re talking with exhibitors about the hottest technologies and trends they’re looking to see at CEDIA Expo 2019.

Q&A with Richard Jonker, VP of Product Line Management for SMB at NETGEAR

Q: Why CEDIA?

RICHARD JONKER: CEDIA is the best place to meet with integrators that value our business-grade products for large scale residential deployments for IP surveillance or residential AV over IP. At NETGEAR Business, our reliable and affordable switches have everything these busy integrators need, ranging from Power-over-Ethernet switches to pre-configured AV over IP family of switches to remote Cloud management on many of our switch models. Also, one of our major partners in residential AV over IP, Savant, will have a large presence at the show and we are always keen on supporting them in all aspects of the business.

Q: What is the most exciting trend you expect to see at the show?

RJ: Many technologies that will be showcased at CEDIA are interesting for NETGEAR: 4K/8K displays, PoE lighting, or top-of-the-line IP surveillance. We are proud of being key in powering and connecting these consumer life-changing and modern technologies that make the line between residential and commercial thinner and thinner over the years.

Q: What will you focus on at CEDIA Expo 2019?

NETGEAR M4300
NETGEAR’S M4300 switches are designed to streamline audiovisual display solutions over IP and eliminate the complexity of AV deployments.

RJ: NETGEAR Business’ focus at the show will be on our state-of-the art switches. On the one hand, NETGEAR Business will showcase our PoE switches, some of which fully managed remotely for ease of installation and monitoring. On the other hand, NETGEAR will show its family of AV over IP switches, the M4300s, that are pre-configured for flawless AV deployments and quality for existing and upcoming high resolutions. From 8 to 96 ports, from 1G to 10G, copper or fiber, NETGEAR has all the AV over IP configurations covered from small to large installations for the CEDIA audience.
