Channel Vision has added two new indoor color dome 1.3 Megapixel IP cameras to its line of surveillance cameras.

The 6530 IP Indoor Dome Camera and the 6531 IP Indoor Dome Camera with IR serve a variety of indoor settings and are ideal for residential and commercial applications, the company said.

Both the 6530 and 6531 have the ability to capture images up to 1200 x 800 pixels. They feature H.264 compression that allows for less bandwidth and storage space to be used, while delivering full resolution at max frame rate and faster speeds over the internet. Rotational camera angle adjustments can easily be made with the 3-axis bracket featured on both cameras, allowing customized coverage in multi-camera applications.

The 6530 and 6531 feature live video that can be recorded to a computer and played back remotely. Monitoring can be done anywhere an internet connection is available, including 3G smart-phone or touch screen tablet. By using the included CMS (Central Management System) software, property owners can easily monitor multiple locations from one central site.

The 6530 model is compatible with the IEEE 802.3af standard, allowing this model to be powered via a Cat-5e or Cat-6 cable over a PoE (Power over Ethernet) network. This feature reduces overall installation time and costs, and allows this cameras to be placed in a wider variety of locations. Additionally, the 6531 features a bright 8-piece LED illuminator with built-in IR for a viewing distance of 15 feet in total indoor darkness.
