SnapAV, a manufacturer and exclusive source of more than 1,500 AV solutions for the residential and commercial channels, has begun shipping its new line of Episode Landscape Series speakers.
The line features four and six inch speaker models, mounting accessories, and a burial subwoofer. The speakers can be purchased separately, or as a kit including four speakers and a 1000W Crown Amplifier. Both models are configurable between 70V and 8ohm modes and feature volume controls (70V mode) for optimal sound levels. Constructed with heavy-duty ABS plastic with UV color-fade protection and powered by burial-rated cable and waterproof wire nuts, these speakers were built to withstand extreme weather conditions.
“These landscape speakers are a new area in outdoor audio for us, and dealers are going to be pleased with not only the aesthetic but the sound as well. We made no compromise in design for either installability or sound; just because it’s an outdoor speaker doesn’t mean it shouldn’t sound as good as the ones in your house,” said Mike Jordan, vice president of product for Episode Speakers.
The speakers feature two-way design with a custom 2nd-order Linkwitz-Reilly Crossover and oversized voice coil. Available accessories allow for ground, surface or tree mounting, making the system ideal for any outdoor application.
“We’ve overcome some of the limitations found in traditional landscape models with this new line. The most important feature when designing any of our products is flexibility and ease of installation for our dealers, and in this case, they sound fantastic too,” added Jordan.
The new landscape speakers MSRP at $224.95 and $449.95 each (four and six inch respectively), while the kits are priced at $1963.30 and $2863.30 and the burial sub at $1499.
