Magnetar is set to debut the Magnetar Lounge at AXPONA 2026 (April 10-12, Chicago, Illinois), showcasing high-performance playback technology in a collaborative demonstration environment alongside Austere, Loewe, Perlisten, and Primare.
Visitors to the Magnetar Lounge will experience a fully integrated, high-performance AV system designed to highlight the role of source playback when it comes to delivering uncompromised audio and video quality. Magnetar’s reference-grade universal media players will serve as the foundation of the system, demonstrating their ability to preserve signal integrity and faithfully reproduce content as it was mastered and intended by creators.
The immersive demo within the Magnetar Lounge will consist of the following:
- Magnetar – MKII Series. The UDP900MKII and UDP800MKII universal media players offer purpose-built support for virtually every physical and digital format under one roof — 4K, UHD, Blu-ray, SACD, stored/networked media — with reference-level video processing and elite audio performance.
- Austere – Premium AV cabling designed to ensure uncompromised signal transfer across the entire system, providing the reliability required for a true reference-grade setup.
- Loewe – 65-inch Stellar LAVA TV. As the refined visual centerpiece of the lounge environment, this display combines striking industrial design with exceptional OLED picture quality to deliver vibrant color and deep contrast.
- Perlisten – A-Series 5.1 channel surround system. Engineered for precision and clarity, the system delivers room-filling audio for a truly immersive experience.
- Primare – SPA25 integrated amplifier and processor. Engineered for precision and control, the SPA25 delivers clean, dynamic amplification and precise processing to support both high-performance music playback and immersive home theater experiences.
