After opening registration to the entire custom installation community this past Fall, Lightapalooza 2023, the industry’s new platform for lighting design and integration, has officially announced the complete educational programming schedule, along with expert panelists and a compelling speaker lineup. The one-of-a-kind event will be held February 20-23, 2023, at the Renaissance Phoenix Glendale Hotel & Spa in Glendale, Ariz.
Lightapalooza 2023 will feature more than 60 hours of lighting and manufacturer lighting and lighting control sessions, nine expert-moderated panel sessions, and other news. Covering landscape lighting to architectural lighting, lighting design deliverables, fixture comparisons, integrating lighting into today’s smart living, outdoor roller shades, and much more, the program is jam-packed with learning opportunities. Some key event highlights announced include:
- 29 hours of lighting educational sessions
- 32 hours of manufacturer lighting-related training sessions
- 9 expert-moderated lighting-focused panel discussions
- 35 leading exhibitors that serve the custom integration channel
- 12 hours of exhibit floor access
- Help Desk Alley with leading lighting design, marketing, and business service providers
- Over 500 pre-registered industry attendees and peers, four weeks in advance of the event
Other parts of the event’s educational opportunities incorporate an expert speaker lineup, including Janet Lennox Moyer, IALD (sponsored by HK Lighting), an internationally recognized lighting designer who has received many design awards, judged lighting competitions, been published extensively, and has taught all over the world. Additionally, Lightapalooza speakers will feature Amer Maleh, VP for sales-strategic accounts at Delta Light Group North America; Peter Romaniello, leader of Conceptual Lighting, LLC; and David Warfel, founding designer of Light Can Help You.
“Lightapalooza is double in size and education already in just one year since inception, demonstrating high interest and the need for such an event,” says Tom Doherty, director of technology initiatives for HTSA, the producer of the event. “We set out to build the best, most informative peer-to-peer lighting educational opportunity bar none. Attendees will not only learn directly from advanced sessions and experts, but will have the unique chance to connect with and talk lighting with 500 of their peers.”
Lightapalooza 2023 is committed to sharing knowledge and raising the bar in the lighting category for custom integrators and vendors and is open to everyone in the custom installation industry. Those interested in attending can register at Lightapalooza2023. Hotel rooms are nearing sold out, so interested parties are encouraged to act quickly.
