EDGE Sets Goals for Market

In a meeting held recently in Dallas, members of the EDGE Distributors Group assembled for a three-day session to solidify marketing plans for the future.

In a meeting held recently in Dallas, members of the EDGE Distributors Group assembled for a three-day session to solidify marketing plans for the future.

The group established committees to evaluate products and potential lines, and created “watchdog” committees to monitor market changes and marketing opportunities. “The EDGE Distributors Group is thoughtfully and carefully mapping out plans to further the great relationships now in place with the best of the best, while seeking to build new and trustworthy relationships invoking high ethical standards with manufacturers, designer/installers and trade organizations across the country,” said Dan Peterson, managing director of the EDGE. “Furthermore, to strengthen the organization we have membership investment in the following organizations: CEDIA, HANA and NAHB to help and assist us in continuing our educational process.”

For the custom installer, the EDGE Distributors Group provides local and regional availability of products with showroom facilities, technical assistance, product training, seminars and design and educational support.
