The Advantage Group (TAG) has been selected by Audioplex Technology to nationally distribute their line of products. By virtue of this association, the alliance contends that TAG will extend its custom installer solutions, and Audioplex will extend its reach to this growing market.
Audioplex is based in Melvin Village, New Hampshire, and manufactures installer solutions servicing both the residential and commercial installer markets. Its product lines include volume controls, switchers, infrared repeating systems, amplifiers, distribution hubs, speakers, cables, and wall plates and others. “Audioplex is one of this industry’s most innovative manufacturers of installation solutions,” said TAG executive director Ted Green. “We couldn’t be more pleased at the opportunity to make available their excellent, high technology solutions to our network of custom installers, system integrators, and installing dealers.” TAG, who earlier this month held a two day members’ conference featuring group business meetings and seminars, has also signed an agreement with Liberty Wire and Cable to distribute their products nationally. With this agreement, TAG will be the exclusive national distributor for Liberty Wire and Cable into the custom installation channel.
In other news, NAM Electronics, TAG’s Stafford, Texas-based member, has opened a new warehouse facility in Carrollton, Texas. This new 15,436-square-foot warehouse will expand NAM’s operations to the north, improving delivery response times, and providing a new “will call” facility for the Dallas/Ft. Worth market. Installers, system integrators and installing retailers will be able to pick up equipment for same day installations, improving service to the end user.
