Melville, NY — Ben L. Wilson, vice president of operations at SafeGuard Security and Communications in Scottsdale, Arizona, has been awarded a new Ford Shelby GT500 Mustang, after winning ADI’s customer appreciation sweepstakes.
For the past seven years, ADI has held a customer appreciation sweepstakes with a high-performance vehicle grand prize to demonstrate its gratitude and appreciation to customers. Entries are collected at all U.S. ADI Expos, and industry tradeshows including ISC West, ISC East, InfoComm, CEDIA EXPO, and EHX.
“At ADI, our customers are extremely important to us and in today’s environment, it is even more meaningful to continue to demonstrate our appreciation,” said John Sullivan, vice president of sales at ADI. “We are really excited for Ben, and are pleased to award him a new high-performance sports car.”

Wilson has been in the security industry for more than 26 years, and a customer of ADI since 1985. He and his team regularly visit the local ADI branch in South Phoenix.
“I can’t believe this is really happening. This is excellent news,” said Wilson as he was informed that he won. “ADI has been just wonderful to me and my team, and I really appreciate all they have done for us. I look forward to working with them for more years to come.”
ADI provides and sponsors events and activities throughout the year to express gratitude to its customers. ADI events include Expo training seminars, trade show events, branch Customer Appreciation Days, vendor product demos, and training classes.
In past years, ADI has run sweepstakes programs and awarded luxury vehicles, including the BMW 335i Coupe and the Porsche Boxster to winning dealers across the country. Customers can check out this year’s coveted vehicle up close, a Chevy Corvette Coupe, at several 2009 industry trade shows and may enter to win by completing entry forms at their local ADI Expo, or by visiting ADI’s booth at ISC West, ISC East, EHX, CEDIA EXPO and InfoComm.
