ADI Looks to Give Dealers an Edge

The companys A/V Demo program has been expanded throughout North America.

Melville, NY–Wholesale custom electronics distributor, ADI, has expanded its new A/V Branch Demo Program throughout North America. The program invites dealers to visit local ADI branches and interact with the latest technology, gaining knowledge and face-to-face training to help them sell integrated A/V solutions.

The A/V Branch Demo Program equips individual ADI branches with sophisticated solutions from participating vendors. Currently more than 50 ADI branches across North America have products available for demonstration. Solutions represented in the program include home theater, whole house audio, and control and automation products. Dealers have a first-hand opportunity to see, touch, and test drive the products before presenting them to customers. This program provides dealers with the tools they need to sell more profitable, higher quality systems.

I appreciate ADIs commitment to the audio/video integrator. The demo room in Tampa is just what the doctor ordered, said Paul King, president of Tampa Bay Technologies. Now I can bring my techs in for training, as well as my customers for a first hand demonstration on products we will be installing.

With the growth of the A/V industry, it is important for dealers to remain ahead of the curve on the latest available technology, said Marc Lamb, national sales manager, Boston Acoustics, Denon and Escient. By allowing dealers to demonstrate our products in the local branches, ADI is helping them stay competitive in todays custom electronics market.

The Branch Demo Program will initially feature A/V solutions, with plans to expand to additional product categories. Participating vendors include BenQ, Boston Acoustics, Denon, DVDO, Harman Kardon, JBL, Key Digital, Monster, Pioneer, Planar, Proficient and Russound.

At ADI, we are committed to helping our dealers grow their businesses and meet their customers needs, said RJ Hirshkind, product manager for residential & commercial A/V at ADI. With the Branch Demo Program, dealers will have immediate access to cutting-edge technology, and an opportunity to become familiar with the products to truly position them before selling and installing.
