ADI Reveals Details of 2009 Expo Training Series

Melville, N.Y. — ADI has revealed the next level of free dealer training through its ADI Expo Series, with a focus on Shifting Gears. Free to all industry professionals, the ADI Expo offers an extensive range of training seminars, a chance to demo the latest technology and interact with leading manufacturers and local associations. Dealers will also have an opportunity to network with their industry peers.

ADI’s 2009 Expo Series promises to deliver more excitement than ever by bringing together as many as 130 participating manufacturers at 39 venues across the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico. This year’s theme, Shifting Gears, demonstrates the commitment of ADI and its vendors to help dealers move into new markets to broaden their offering, and create new growth opportunity. Now more than ever, ADI is focused on providing new products and programs to help its customers diversify their business and stay ahead in today’s competitive market.

The ADI Expo features training seminars throughout the day to help dealers increase their technical expertise. For 2009, ADI has added a variety of courses to get dealers involved in new market segments including home solutions, A/V, IP and more. Dealers will have an opportunity to attend more business management courses to improve efficiencies, reduce costs and maximize their profits. An open exhibit floor in the evening provides attendees with the chance to see product demonstrations and spend time with manufacturers. The Expo creates an excellent networking opportunity for dealers to share knowledge, and discuss best practices.

At the Expo, dealers will also have the opportunity to enter for their chance to win a brand new 2009 Chevy Corvette Coupe through ADI’s customer appreciation car giveaway sweepstakes.

“I have been attending the ADI Expo for more than 10 years, and I’m really looking forward to this year’s event. My business has grown from one to over 30 employees, and the ADI Expo has always helped us stay on top of the latest technology,” said ADI customer John Loud, president of LOUD Security Systems in Kennesaw, GA. “The Expo is a valuable event that provides us with great enjoyment. We are able to see the newest products and spend quality time with other dealers, vendors and ADI. We really appreciate this event.”

“ADI is excited to kick off its 2009 Expo season and provide dealers with these free regional training events to help increase their business,” said John Sullivan, vice president of sales at ADI. “In this economic environment, it is imperative that we provide our dealers with new programs, solutions and education to help diversify their product offering and increase revenues.”

In 2008, ADI and its participating vendors reached more than 12,000 dealers throughout the year. The 2009 theme, Shifting Gears, will visit 39 cities across North America, and kicked off this week in Orange, Calif.
