Andrew Regan Joins HiFiMAN as CMA Industry Veteran to Lead Performance Brand’s Global Sales and MarketingRS Staff ⋅ Sep 26, 2017 Andrew ReganHiFiMAN, the designer/manufacturer of high performance headphones and portable audio products, has hired Andrew Regan as the company’s chief marketing officer (CMO). Regan, who will be based at his office in Florida, will direct HiFiMAN’s sales and marketing efforts for all worldwide markets, except China. For over 30 years, Regan has held executive management positions with several top audio brands and most recently, was president of JH Audio, a supplier of custom in-ear monitors. Regan has been involved in the audio business for more than 40 years. He began as an engineer of live sound reproduction for 20 years, touring with rock bands Aerosmith, and Fleetwood Mac, as well as Willie Nelson. Then, Regan decided to get off the road and worked in hi fi Sales at high-end retailer Sound by Singer in NYC. He was soon recruited by Nelson Pass to become the national sales manager of Threshold Audio, one of the pioneering high-end audio manufacturers at the time. “It is with great pleasure I take on the role of CMO of HiFiMAN,” Regan said. “I have followed the company’s development with keen interest over the years. I first met [HiFiMAN found and CEO Dr. Fang Bian] many years ago at the Munich High End Show when I was VP at Cardas Audio. I was literally blown away by the planar headphones Dr. Fang played for me. So much so, that I insisted that Cardas start manufacturing custom cables for HIFIMAN headphones.” Regan said that after speaking with Bian about his vision for some “groundbreaking headphone products and beyond,” he felt that HiFiMAN was poised for “immense growth” worldwide. “My role, as I have done for other companies, is to put systems in place to manage said growth, in such a way that not only ensures HiFiMAN offers the best products but also delivers world class marketing, quality control, and customer service,” Regan said. “Uniquely poised for major growth and expansion, now is the time for these new systems to manage that growth is of paramount importance.” Since HiFiMAN’s inception, Bian has not only designed all its products but has also had to oversee all the company’s marketing and operations. “With a person of Andy’s diverse experience and in-depth contacts, I will be free to focus on my vision of creating products that will change the landscape of the personal audio industry,” Bian said. “Knowing that the distribution, sales and marketing will be in Andy’s capable hands, it will expand the exciting possibilities for HiFiMAN.” Andrew Regan can be contacted at email@example.com.
