Anuva Manufacturing Services has moved to Melbourne, FL, in a newly built 40,000 square foot facility. Anuva Manufacturing moved from Morrisville, NC, where it launched as part of the “Design to Distribution” family of businesses that started in 2008 with the launch of Anuva Services. The company hopes to expand staff and increase the home automation and electronics manufacturer’s output by 250% at the new location.

“We have been steadily growing to 55 employees and we expect to keep growing,” said Vinu Patel, CEO of Anuva Manufacturing. Patel also noted that the impetus for the move into larger space is closely tied with Anuva’s recent acquisition of the TiO brand of building automation products. Through the TiO Android app, users can easily create unique environments in every room of their home that includes streaming music, lighting control, climate control, and control of other systems.
“After acquiring TiO in August, it became apparent to Anuva that the manufacturing capacity needed to increase to support the demand,” said Mike Anderson, President of Anuva Automation, the company responsible for TiO. “The fact that we’re in Florida’s central tech corridor is ideal. By being here, we’re positioned to take advantage of the technology-oriented brain trust amassed in this area.”
Although some staff are already working within the new building, the official grand opening is scheduled for February 1, 2015. “We’re excited that TiO will be manufactured in the U.S. This will help us provide high-quality products and deliver quick turnaround,” Anderson said.
