BTX, a manufacturer and distributor of professional-grade products used to interface and integrate AV, broadcast, home theater, data, and security systems, will introduce several new products at ISE 2010.
ProBlox-D All-In-One Connector System
BTX's patent-pending ProBlox-D all-in-one connector system is the AV industry's first to incorporate multiple data, HD video, audio, and control signals in a single connector. The system contains two Cat-5e connectors along with 16 HD video and 18 audio and control contacts -- all field-terminatable.
BTX's patent-pending ProBlox-D all-in-one connector system is the AV industry's first to incorporate multiple data, HD video, audio, and control signals in a single connector.
The addition of the Cat-5e components takes advantage of all the signals, including HDMI, DVI, and VGA, that can now effectively be run over one or two Cat-5e cables.
The ProBlox-D connector system simplifies setup for AV applications in classrooms, houses of worship, conference rooms, or any setting where multiple signals of different formats need to be delivered to a single connection point. In addition to saving installers time during setup, ProBlox-D also provides non-technical users, such as teachers or pastors, with the ability to hook up to a podium without the need for technical assistance.
MaxBlox Solderless EZ Termination System
The MaxBlox Solderless HD15 and DB9 EZ termination system. Manufactured with Phoenix Contact terminal blocks for a more reliable connection, these larger blocks make it easier to terminate while still keeping the connector compact. MaxBlox dramatically reduces installation time and cost by eliminating the need for soldering or crimping and the unique sled-type bottom allows these connectors to slide, snap, and lock into the patent-pending MaxBlox CD-MX915H hood for a secure cable mount connection. When used in panel mount applications these low profile connectors are less than 2.54 cm behind a plate.
Techflex Expandable Sleeving Solutions
BTX will showcase its complete line of timesaving expandable sleeving solutions at ISE 2010, including the Techflex Standard, which expands up to 150 percent and allows quick and easy installation over large connectors and long runs. The standard sleeving cuts easily and cleanly with a hot knife and is available in five colors.
The Techflex Wrappable offers a lateral split that allows the tube to open up to accommodate a wide variety of cables, while the semi-rigid braid simply closes around the entire installation without the need for any additional fasteners. The 25-percent edge overlap allows coverage around inline plugs, connectors, and splices.
The Techflex Hook & Loop is designed for quick and easy management of wire and cable. Installers simply separate the hook and loop fasteners along the edge of the material, slip around the cables, and seal closed. The Techflex hook & loop is ideal for bundles that require frequent access.
