Atlona Technologies says that company will be showcasing its CE line of digital connectivity solutions at the 2011 CES. Specifically the company will feature the new AT-AiR3, Atlona’s 1080p wireless USB to HDMI converter.

In addition, Atlona’s CE line offers solutions for bringing computer gaming and movie libraries to the HDTV, incorporating older Mac computers and laptops with new Mac monitors, and enhancing the home theater experience.

“Our CE line is designed to provide innovative solutions for all types of connectivity issues, while helping consumers easily and cost-effectively implement new technologies into their existing home theaters and peripherals,” said Joshua Carlson, director of public relations, Atlona Technologies. “We are excited for attendees to see our CES lineup, which will dramatically extend the capabilities of PCs and laptops. From streaming media wirelessly to an HDTV to using a new Mac display without having to buy a new computer, our CE line has consumers covered.”

At the 2011 International CES, Atlona will debut the third generation of its AT-HDAiR converter: the AT-AiR3. Answering the call for a full 1080p wireless signal, this device allows users to connect any USB-enabled computer or laptop wirelessly to an HDTV or projector via VGA or HDMI ports. Capable of transmitting a signal up to 30 feet, the AT-AiR3 is designed for viewing streaming media content from Hulu, YouTube, and other sites, as well as computer-based learning programs such as RosettaStone or Lynda online training.

Also on display will be Atlona’s AT-PCLINK DVI extender, which gives users access to their PC with a secondary keyboard, mouse, display, and PC speakers via wireless transmission. In addition, the AT-HD610 DVI to HDMI converter and embedder allows consumers to play their favorite computer games or watch uploaded videos on their HDTVs.

Atlona’s CE line also includes DVI to Mini DisplayPort converters and a 2×1 Mini DisplayPort KVM switch. For HDMI users, Atlona’s AT-HD620 upconverts any HDMI resolution to match the native resolution of an Apple iMac 27-inch or 24-inch monitor.

To enhance the home theater experience, the CE line features a USB-to-HDMI converter designed to add an HDMI port to any computer, while a USB-powered HDMI scaler/converter upscales the audio and video signals from a PC to the digital HDMI output of a wide range of HDTV and PC products, up to 1080p.
