Audio Authority is now shipping its new HBT200KIT long range HDMI extender kits based on HDBaseT technology.

David Acton, product development specialist for Audio Authority, made the announcement. “Our dealers have made it clear they need ultra-reliable HDMI solutions and a wider assortment of products to meet their installation needs. HDBaseT has proven itself to be a very robust HDMI transmission platform and we are excited to release our first of many products based on this technology.”
Acton states the most valuable feature of the HDBaseT technology is its “ability to bundle multiple audio, video and control singles over a single 330 ft. run of Cat-5e/6 cable.” The HBT200KIT transmits uncompressed HD video, digital audio and bi-directional RS-232 and IR.
