Audio Plus Brings Micromega to N. America

Champlain, NY — Audio Plus Services, the North American importer/distributor of premium products for the audio, video, and home theater markets, has brought back the Micromega line of high-performance audio components to its network of authorized specialty dealers in North America.

According to Daniel Jacques, founder and president of Audio Plus Services, “When I learned of the opportunity to import Micromega into North America, it was indeed very exciting for me as an audio enthusiast. After visiting with the team at Micromega in France though I was even more excited about the long-term business opportunities that this outstanding brand offers.”

In 1987, Micromega made headlines with its CDF-1 Hitech, the industry’s first top-loading CD player with sound quality embraced by audiophiles. The company followed that the next year with the first CD player with separate transport and D/A converter. Subsequent years saw introductions in digital applications of audio and video products for both hi-fi and home theater use.

With 100 percent of their products designed and manufactured in France, today’s Micromega HD Audio lineup consists of models for both two-channel audio (CD players, preamplifier, amplifiers, and tuner) as well as home cinema.
