August Home has partnered with one of the largest home security alarm monitoring companies in the U.S., MONI Smart Security, a subsidiary of Ascent Capital Group, Inc. MONI Smart Security selected August as its partner and will now make the August Smart Lock and August Connect available to its expansive residential and commercial customer base.

With the August Smart Lock and August Connect Wi-Fi bridge, MONI customers can securely manage their front door from anywhere from their smartphone. August Smart Lock users can control access to their front door by issuing virtual keys for specific dates and times, or monitor access through instant notifications when someone unlocks and locks the door. It also allows review access with a 24/7 activity feed of all activity at the front door. August Connect, an accessory to the Smart Lock, lets users instantly let guests in remotely and confirm the door is locked.
August Home products also integrate with the Honeywell Total Connect 2.0 Remote Services platform. This allows MONI dealers who install Honeywell Total Connect as part of their solution for monitored security to offer customers the ability to lock and unlock their door and control access to the front door remotely, all from a smartphone.
