Autonomic co-founder and CEO Michael de Nigris will be the only manufacturer participant on a panel assembled to highlight the opportunities that the CEDIA community has been afforded by cloud-based technologies. This panel is part of the Emerging Trends segment of CEDIA University, and de Nigris will join three other integrator panelists to share their various perspectives and experiences with cloud-based products and services.
The interactive session will be held at the 2011 CEDIA EXPO on Friday, September 9, from 10:00 am to 11:30 am in room 235.
Cloud storage provides virtual hard disk space in the “cloud,” allowing users to upload and store music, movies, photos, and/or documents online, and access/playback the content over the internet using a computer or mobile device. Thanks to the power of cloud synchronization, Autonomic’s Mirage Media Servers make a diverse collection of music and video content available autonomously for the user throughout the home and around the globe.
During the CEDIA University panel session, de Nigris will be discussing cloud services from Amazon, Google, and Apple as well as streaming content providers such as Rhapsody, Sirius, and Spotify. Autonomic will have Mirage Media Servers on display at CEDIA, booth 231.
