AVAD has hired former Core Brands national director of sales Gordon Isaac as its new director of sales. While at Core Brands, Gordon was responsible for leading the national custom installation sales team, consisting of more than 50 direct and independent employees, and serving over 3,000 customers across North America.

Prior to his engagement at Core Brands, Isaac worked as a regional sales leader for industry notables, Crestron Electronics and Bose Corporation. Gordon got his start as the manager at Ultimate Electronics and moved on to serve as chief operating officer for a large regional custom installation integrator.

Isaac will lead AVAD’s sales initiatives as it tackles the next phase of its transformation. In addition, he will be responsible for continuing to cultivate knowledgeable internal teams to grow AVAD’s footprint in the custom installation market.

“With nearly 25 years in the consumer electronics and custom installation industry, I’m very familiar with AVAD’s market-leading position,” Isaac said. “In my new position, I look forward to using my years of experience to lead the sales side of AVAD’s transformation. Working together with AVAD’s respected sales team and dealer base, I am committed to improving AVAD’s dealer engagement, satisfaction, and effectiveness across its North American operations.”

“We’re excited to welcome Gordon Isaac to AVAD," said Jon Zabel, VP of sales and vendor management for AVAD. “We’re confident that Gordon will play a critical role in enhancing and strengthening AVAD’s sales strategy and execution as we seek to provide dealers with cutting edge solutions and market leading service. As AVAD completes its transformation since being purchased from Ingram Micro, we continue to demonstrate our investment and commitment to personnel and programs that provide our dealers with best in class products, technology and service.”
