Hollywood, FL–AVAD has made several facility expansions to equip itself for nationwide growth. The custom electronics distributor has added a distribution facility in Piscataway, New Jersey, a new Southern California location in San Diego, and new locations in Fort Lauderdale and Orlando, Florida.
The new distribution center is New Jersey the largest AVAD facility in the MetroEast territory and was opened to address the needs of the area’s increasing number of custom electronic system contractors. The new branch covers 26,000 square feet and includes a state-of-the-art home theater showroom to demo all of the latest technologies available at AVAD MetroEast. The facility’s allotted 20,000 square feet of warehouse space with a dedicated will-call lounge provides installers just-in-time access of all the products necessary to provide complete home solutions.
The distribution center in San Diego was opened to address the needs of the area’s increasing number of custom electronic system contractors. It is centrally located in the San Diegos Kearney Mesa area off of Highway 163.
The new location in Ft. Lauderdale, now in operation, and the relocated branch in Orlando, with a grand opening this autumn, extends the services of AVAD’s Florida branches in order to provide a higher degree of service to a growing customer base. The new 10,000-square-foot facility contains a training area for AVAD’s continuing education program, including the Dealer to Builder (D2B) program, CEDIA certification courses, and manufacturer seminars that help AVAD dealers become experts on the newest, in-demand technology. Just In Time Distributors, located 180 miles northwest of Ft. Lauderdale, also has established a more central location for its facility in Orlando.
