AVAD LLC, a North American provider of solutions for the residential and commercial custom installation market, announced the latest changes to leadership roles with the promotion of Jon Zabel as vice president of sales and merchandising and Don Anderson as vice president of enterprise services and human capital. In addition, Jill Sawchak and Brian Carter join the AVAD team as vice president of accounting and finance and vice president of operations, respectively.
Jon Zabel Jon Zabel, recently promoted to vice president of sales and merchandising, has been an integral asset to AVAD over the last 12 years and will continue to lead the sales and vendor management teams. Zabel will serve as a lead in managing important vendor relationships with both existing and new vendors and will continue to focus on both critical branch operations and lead product assortment and selection strategy.
Don Anderson Don Anderson, newly appointed vice president of enterprise services and human capital, has been with AVAD for the last five years. Anderson will lead the new Human Capital team for AVAD, which provides resources and develops best-in-class initiatives for associate experience. Additionally, he will serve as a leader of the Information Systems and other enterprise service areas.
Jill Sawchak Jill Sawchak joins AVAD, effective immediately, to serve as the vice president of accounting and finance. Sawchak will lead all critical accounting and finance functions after previous experience as the director of accounting operations, reporting and compliance for Full Beauty Brands, a distributor of apparel and home décor. In addition, Sawchak has prominent industry-leading experience with previous financial leadership roles for Klipsch Group and Finish Master.
Brian Carter Brian Carter joined AVAD on July 1, 2016, following the purchase of AVAD by Kingswood Capital Management. Carter, newly appointed vice president of operations, will lead all logistics and operations, including warehousing, supply chain, and logistics for existing and expanding customer footprint. He brings 26 years of previous industry experience from global operations leadership roles for EMAK Worldwide, Harman International Industries and Thomson Consumer Electronics.
