Ft. Lauderdale, FL–AVAD, a leading distributor of custom home systems technology, has expanded its AVAD Central location in Warren, Michigan.
AVAD Central attributes the 3,500-square-foot addition to a consistently increasing demand for the comprehensive program of services offered by the branch, which serves the Detroit metropolitan area. The revamped AVAD Central facility was unveiled last month.
“The increased space at our Michigan location gives us the resources we need to support our rapidly-expanding dealer base,” said AVAD Central president, Wally Whinna. “Some of the new room has gone toward enhancing our showroom, which now contains more interactive displays. We’ve also added a new training facility to support the recently launched Dealer to Builder initiative, and our popular CEDIA installer certification courses, both of which aim to broaden and strengthen the professional abilities of our dealers.”
In addition to increasing space at the Warren location, AVAD Central has added two new staff members to its team.
Tim Charvat, AVAD Centrals newest customer service representative, applies retail electronics experience in providing customers with the answers they need.
In addition, Adam Wright joins AVAD Centrals will-call and warehouse team. He brings electronics distribution experience to maintaining shipping and receiving, as well as expediting customer orders, supporting the unique demands of custom home technology installations.
