AVAD LLC has announced the success of its first round of 2011 AVAD Opportunity Tour events.

The initial leg of the 2011 AVAD Opportunity Tour was held at various AVAD branches from October 11-13, drawing numerous dealers who were able to experience six new products from leading manufacturers Bose, Sharp, Optoma, and Lutron.


AVAD’s Opportunity Tour is a series of one-night-only events, held at select AVAD branches, that introduces dealers to new solutions they can use immediately to impact their businesses. The initial leg of the tour was held at various AVAD branches from October 11-13, drawing numerous dealers who were able to experience six new products from leading manufacturers Bose, Sharp, Optoma, and Lutron.

“This event was a really great opportunity to get direct interaction with the manufacturers,” said Chad Carlson, of A Universal Connection in Deerfield, FL. “In addition to learning more about these new products and business opportunities, we get to voice our opinions and concerns directly to the reps who can help us with our business.”

Each event throughout the Opportunity Tour includes a short networking reception at 4 p.m. followed by product breakout sessions. The evening concludes with a dinner buffet and question and answer session.

“The sessions were extremely informative,” said Ryan Bethell of Sat Sound, who attended the AVAD Fort Lauderdale event. “Our company is located in the Bahamas and I flew in just for the opportunity to attend. It was well worth it. I saw and learned a number of things we can use in our business to help our customers even more.”

“I really liked that the events were well organized and held at a time that made it convenient for us without disrupting our business,” said Hector Yanez of Fort Lauderdale’s HY-FY Audio & Video. “I learned a lot of things that I can take back immediately and use to help grow our business.”

The remaining AVAD Opportunity Tour schedule will visit several AVAD branches throughout the U.S. and Canada.
