AVAD Hires New Regional Sales Manager for D2B Program

Experienced executive plans to leverage successful dealer-to-builder program to next level.

Van Nuys, CA–AVAD LLC has appoointed Tony Orcutt to the position of regional sales manager for the companys Dealer-to-Builder Program (D2B). D2B links builders with Electronic System Contractors (ESCs) to install AVADs roster of home technology systems in dwellings across the United States. With many years of experience selling value-added products to the home building industry, Orcutt is poised to take the already stellar D2B program to the next level.

Over the past several years, Orcutt has worked with national, regional, and local builders to initiate and implement contracts and programs for Beam Industries Central Vacuum Systems based in Webster City, IA. There, he managed all builder related activities in various regions and worked alongside many of the top 60 production builders. Orcutt also has extensive experience with systems integrators and equipment manufacturers to develop business within the building industry.

AVADs D2B Program is designed to make it easier for builders to access dozens of home electronic brands at competitive pricing. Currently, AVAD serves more than 9,000 dealers at over 36 distribution centers throughout the United States. Several nationally known homebuilders are already partnering with AVAD Electronic Systems Contractors, including DR Horton, Kolter Communities, Transeastern Homes, Lennar Homes, and Centex Homes.
