Van Nuys, CA — AVAD has entered into a distribution agreement, effective immediately, with Orange County, California-based Pantel Corp., manufacturer of high-end, weatherproof and water-resistant LCD television solutions and accessories for nearly unlimited indoor and outdoor applications.
AVADs partnership with Pantel opens up home outdoor spaces as another arena for dealers to add value to their customers and increase opportunities for high-margin custom projects. At the same time, Pantel gains access to AVADs network of more than 10,000 certified dealers and installers, significantly expanding its reach within the custom installation market.
The addition of Pantels innovative product line gives our dealers a completely new opportunity. Now they can substantially enhance the patio, backyard, and poolside entertainment experience for their clients, said Bob Gartland, AVADs president. Pantels new PAN-650 (65-inch) model is currently the largest outdoor television on the market. Recognized for easy and flexible installation with unique design characteristics specific to outdoor use, every Pantel outdoor TV comes standard with both a wireless transmitter and receiver, enabling the user to broadcast both audio and video wirelessly over a distance up to 150 feet. All Pantel models are rust-resistant and operable in weather conditions ranging from -32 degrees Fahrenheit to 140 degrees Fahrenheit.
