AVAD has entered in a distribution agreement with Home Automation Inc. (HAI), to enable its dealers to have access to HAI products, including a full range of home automation products and accessories.
The HAI line includes the HAI OmniTouch 5.7, a 5.7-inch color touchscreen, offering one-touch control of security systems, temperature, lighting, and entertainment systems. AVAD dealers will also be able to offer their clients energy-saving products, including the HAI Omnistat2 thermostat, which utilizes digital technology to determine the heating and cooling patterns of an area and subsequently helps adjust a system for efficiency.
“HAI has an outstanding reputation as one of the premier providers of complete, integrated home control solutions and we are pleased to offer our dealers their line of home control products and accessories,” said AVAD vice president and general manager, Jim Annes. “Providing security and access control, energy management and home theater and whole-house audio and video control, HAI products provide our dealers with profitable control solution designed to easily integrate with virtually any job and any number of subsystems and components.”
In addition to having access to AVAD’s extensive network of more than 10,000 dealers, HAI will also be able to provide dealers with training at AVAD’s 28 North American branches, as well as after-sale customer.
