Azione Unlimited (AU), the education and buying group for custom installers and home technology professionals, will discuss cyber security, artificial intelligence, virtual reality, and ways to achieve financial acumen, during its 2017 Fall Amalgamating Assembly Conference at the Sheraton Austin at the Capitol in Austin, TX, from October 11-13, 2017.

Also planned, is an in-depth look at how members are finding success with Azione’s exclusive Virtual Reality Showroom and an exploration of its practical applications for today’s home integration professionals.

In addition, attendees will participate in one-on-one and small group meetings — first introduced during the Spring Conference — and can attend a new benchmarking survey presentation, as well. An interactive team-building activity will give members the chance to get to know each other and explore downtown Austin.

In Azione tradition, the conference name is an alliterative title that reflects the goals of the organization and the conference theme. To amalgamate means, quite simply, to unite. In this era of heavy competition, the Azione group sees itself as a uniquely united organization, where all dealers and vendors are equal members all working together for the benefit of their individual businesses and the audiovisual industry as a whole. The fall event is meant to epitomize the spirit of communication and collaboration embodied in Azione 2.0, made evident in the group sessions and the after-hours networking events.

For Wednesday night, Azione has reserved the entire Iron Cactus restaurant, promising legendary Tex-Mex cuisine under the stars on the rooftop deck. On Thursday, members will congregate for dinner at Parkside, a creative American restaurant and raw bar on Sixth Street.

The Amalgamating Assembly marks the culmination of an incredibly successful year for Azione Unlimited, which included the Spring Sagacious Summit Conference in San Antonio and a trio of targeted events, including the first-of-its-kind Middle Managers’ Meeting, a Vendor Only meeting, and the Science of Selling seminar. Each event provided unique knowledge and insight to the members in attendance while helping to shape the upcoming offerings at the Amalgamating Assembly.

“This year brought Azione members closer than ever with the introduction of Azione 2.0,” said Richard Glikes, president of Azione Unlimited. “Our Slack channel, our increased social media presence that includes live streaming on Facebook, a new Webinar series and our three additional meetings throughout the year all contributed to the tight-knit, family feeling our members experience even as our organization continues to grow. Our Amalgamating Assembly promises to expand upon these feelings and initiatives. We invite our members and the media to join us as we share ideas, learn, and make new friends in an inspiring atmosphere.”
