Algonquin, Il–Barretts Home Theater, a family-run audio/ video retailer, has opened its new showroom in Algonquin, Illinois.
The location, which officially opened its doors on March 5, 2005, represents the 40-year old companys most interactive showroom concept to date. It is a free-standing location at the entrance to the Algonquin Commons Lifestyle Center.
We are thrilled to bring this exciting new store to the Algonquin landscape, said company president, Joe Barrett. Our new showroom has a very dynamic design and will give customers a chance to experience home theater and home electronics in a way they havent been able to before.
The Algonquin showroom gives customers a sneak-peek into the future of home entertainment, presenting the latest technologies and systems, including:
10,000 square feet of the latest in digital and high-definition home theater systems
A dominant plasma and LCD flat-panel wall and a two-tiered micro-display platform
Two dedicated high-end home theater rooms
Three “great room” vignettes
One 7.1-channel speaker and audio component room
One custom installation equipment room
There is also a custom installation equipment store-within-a-store concept featuring custom installation products with an emphasis on in-wall and in-ceiling speakers geared for new home builders and new home clients.
This is just one of the many ways our new showroom stands apart from the rest and gives customers the chance
to interact with and experience home electronics before they buy, Barrett said.
The new showroom will be located at 1516 S. Randall Road. A second Barretts location remains at the Naper West
Plaza in Naperville, Illinois.
