Instead of a product-driven show, Niles Audio offered attendees of CEDIA EXPO last week in Atlanta a series of workshops and interactive business management presentations, including Friday’s Business Dynamics Seminar breakfast with economic analyst Alan Beaulieu.
Beaulieu is an economist, principal, and executive vice president with the Institute for Trend Research (ITR). In a spirited talk, he parsed convoluted economic jargon and explained how the economy moves in cycles. He shared his insight into short- and long-term economic trends pertinent to the custom installation industry.
Niles president Frank Sterns said that Beaulieu is inspiring for his “96-percent accuracy” looking six quarters out in the 350 industry/market in which he forecasts.
