Irvine, CA–BenQ America Corporation has partnered with wholesale distributor ADI for a nationwide high-definition video training series beginning April 23, 2007.
The series, to be conducted by Imaging Science Foundation (ISF), will be held in 20 cities across the United Sates and span 60 days. The overall goal is to establish an informed dealer base equipped to deliver consistent, knowledgeable service to consumers and industrial customers.
Through these seminars, we aim to empower our valued dealers with the know-how that will help them become better solution providers, ultimately growing their businesses, said Mitch Rauch, associate vice president of Pro/AV products for BenQ America. It is essential that dealers understand the set-up, technology and calibration of todays high-demand HD products so that they can better influence consumer purchase, and ensure that their own customers will enjoy the products full potential.
BenQ and ADI have established demo facilities within each ADI branch, providing dealers a hands-on opportunity to use, install, and calibrate BenQs new line of Home Cinema Series DLPTM projectors, starting with the ISF-certified W10000. ISF technicians will be demonstrating display optimization, color and contrast adjustment for home environments, and how to use the ISF HDTV Calibration Wizard and color science instruments to customize the best possible home theater experience for customers.
ISF is an authority in advanced control of image reproduction, said Rauch. And we are very proud to be a licensee. With high-end extras like premium certification, BenQ products deliver superior performance for the ultimate in digital lifestyle enjoyment.
Joining BenQ in sponsoring this training series are other manufacturers that include Datacolor, Draper, DVDO, Honeywell, Pioneer Industrial and Spectrum Electronics.
In addition to training, attendees will receive promotional discounts from participating manufacturers and a copy of the ISF Calibration Wizard.
