Carson City, NV — BG has appointed Dallas-based Marketing Concepts to represent the brand for the Southwest territory which includes Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Arkansas. The appointment is effective immediately.
Founded in September, 1984 by Bruce Marlin and Gayleen Leach, the principals already had well over a decade of experience in the marketing and sales of professional audio, video, lighting and musical instruments. Michael Austin joined a year later and now heads up the company’s sales management efforts. Marketing Concepts maintains four field offices throughout the territory supported by a central office with warehousing and distribution.
According to BG’s national sales manager Tony Weber, “I worked with Marketing Concepts at a previous company and have always held them in high regard. I am delighted to welcome Marketing Concepts to the BG family and know they will quickly become one of our most successful rep firms.”
