BitWise Controls is now shipping the BC1 automation controller.
The BC1 features an internal scripting engine to make complex automation and control logic possible. The device also sports a built-in astronomical clock functionality allows tasks to be triggered based on time of day, sunrise/sunset, etc. For even more control power, it features SMS text control, so that users can trigger tasks or receive notifications via SMS Text messaging.
The BC-1 also features expanded Two-Way support with four RS232 ports and multiple simultaneous TCP client device capabilities. It also has expanded IR support with a built-in IR library, an on-board learner, and eight routed IR ports with adjustable output. The BC1 also provides the functionality of the BCIRI built-right in.
The BC-1 has expanded hardware Interfaces, with four SPDT relays, and four GPIO signal sense inputs. For scalability, the BC1 can act independently, or as part of a distributed control system with any number of additional BC1 or BC4X1 controllers.
The BC1 has a 1RU enclosure, which can be installed in any equipment cabinet, or rack mounted with the included rack ears.
