BitWise Controls, manufacturer of IP-enabled control systems for commercial and home automation systems, has received a strategic investment from ProLink Solutions, a Denver-based software solutions provider.

The company also has moved its corporate offices to the Corporex Center in the Denver Tech Center.

“We’re very excited about our relationship with ProLink,” BitWise Controls CEO Lance Beck said. “Shawn [McKenna] and his team bring years of software development and enterprise level business experience to this venture. With additional resources at our disposal, we can ramp up development of innovative control products that simplify the way businesses and consumers utilize technology.

The BitWise Controls BC4 currently enables IR, RS232, and relay-controlled equipment such as TVs, DVD players, blinds, and lighting control to be controlled and monitored by iPhone apps, automation control systems, and PC-based automation software.

“The BitWise Controls team has developed some powerful, yet easy-to-use, products for the commercial and residential integration market,” ProLink Solutions president Shawn McKenna said. “I’ve been a user of their products for some time now. In fact, it was my experience with their products that inspired this investment.”
