Mahwah, NJ–As part of its 30th anniversary celebration, San Antonio retailer Bjorn’s Audio Video will feature Sharp’s new 65-inch AQUOS liquid crystal HDTV, model LC-65D90U, as one of the stars of its anniversary event in October. This will be the first public venue where the high-definition, widescreen LC-65D90U has been showcased.
“For the past thirty years, we’ve prided ourselves on offering a wide selection of high-quality and cutting-edge home theater products,” said Bjorn Dybdahl, president, Bjorn’s Audio Video. “We’re thrilled to showcase a product as impressive as the LC-65D90U, which represents the caliber of technology and design that we strive to bring to our customers, to celebrate this milestone in our history.”
On October 1, Dybdahl will kick off a month-long series of emerging technologies seminars led by manufacturers and industry experts by conducting a seminar on TV technologies, in conjunction with the LC-65D90U. The LC-65D90U AQUOS HDTV is the world’s largest available LC-TV, featuring a built-in CableCARD slot to enjoy the latest high-definition programming, and a full-spec 1080p (progressive) image, the leading high-definition TV standard. With a new four-wavelength backlight system that provides enhanced color reproduction with deeper, more vivid reds than previously possible, the LC-65D90U produces an amazing picture for the ultimate viewing experience.
“Bjorn’s is known and respected for providing its customers with exciting, top-of-the-line experiences in home theater, so what better place for Sharp to showcase the amazing 65-inch AQUOS than Bjorn’s anniversary celebration?” said Steven McNally, senior vice president, audio/video sales, Consumer Electronics Group, Sharp. “The 65-inch AQUOS is a technological breakthrough, achieving a screen size that was at one time unthinkable and delivering stunning picture quality, and we’re proud to demonstrate this one-of-a-kind technology firsthand to Bjorn’s customers.”
