DPL Laboratories, the HDMI product testing and performance rating program, has announced that company president Jeffrey Boccaccio will be offering an all-new seminar on HDMI technology at the upcoming CEDIA EXPO, titled “Rev. 1.4 Revealed.”
The company plans to conduct four separate seminar sessions in partnership with Ethereal Home Theater, Honeywell, NextGen, and Perfect Path by PPC.
In “Rev. 1.4 Revealed,” Boccaccio will explore the latest revision of the HDMI specification to reveal critical details on proper installation techniques to maximize the performance of the interface. Boccaccio will also discuss proper system configuration considerations to ensure the ultimate reliability of short- and long-term performance.
The information presented will help installers and integrators better understand the issues surrounding this latest HDMI specification revision, which introduces new features like 3D technology, 4K X 2K resolution, and more…all offering potential new challenges relevant to high-performance AV system installations.
