Bowers & Wilkins has embarked on a social media campaign in North America designed to engage with fans and celebrate music. Bowers & Wilkins plans to drive additional interest to these social sites through the launch of the Bowers & Wilkins Sound Sessions, a series of intimate, VIP-only listening events where a renowned musician will gather with fans to celebrate and listen to their newly released album, played through Bowers & Wilkins’ loudspeakers.
Tinie Tempah will be the first artist featured in the Bowers & Wilkins Sound Sessions.
The Bowers & Wilkins Sound Sessions will be promoted across music blogs, websites, artist pages, Twitter feeds and re-feeds, Facebook, YouTube, and more. Individual artists in the program will also be promoted across all social media platforms by their respective music labels.
Fans and followers will be directed to register on a Bowers & Wilkins landing page, bwsoundsessions.com. Winners will receive a pair of tickets granting them VIP access to the private Bowers & Wilkins Sound Session event, a meet-and-greet with the artist, and a pair of the Bowers & Wilkins P5 headphones.
Tinie Tempah is the first artist in the series. The 22 year old’s album Disc-Overy debuted in the U.S. on May 17. Tempah is already a phenomenon in the U.K., where the album debuted at number one and produced four Top Five singles, including two number ones, and is currently closing in on double platinum sales status.
