Hawthorne, NY–BTX Technologies has appointed industry veteran Frank Brady to the position of representative channel manager. Brady’s role is to complete the company’s manufacturer representative channels in the commercial A/V, home cinema, and security markets, as well as to maximize existing manufacturer representative participation in the promotion and sales of BTX products.

Brady brings more than 30 years of A/V industry experience to his new position. He comes to BTX from Digital Projection International (DPI), an Emmy Award-winning manufacturer of high-performance projection systems, where he served as field director of representative sales.

Prior to DPI, Brady served in progressively increasing roles at Liberty Wire & Cable. Most notably, Brady held the position of vice president of broadcast and integration, where he was responsible for developing the company’s commercial and residential manufacturer representative team nationwide. He then moved into the position of vice president of sales operation.

In addition, as vice president of Peirce Phelps Inc., Brady was instrumental in developing one of the nation’s leading suppliers of A/V systems integration and videoconferencing products.

“We are very pleased to have Frank join BTX,” said Greg Schwartz, president of BTX. “His career in the A/V industry spans more than 30 years. His wealth of experience and his strong relationships within the industry will be a great asset to us. His proven record of success in a number of senior management positions speaks to his ability to cultivate and support our team of manufacturer representatives.”

“I’m very excited to work with a company that has such a rich tradition of innovation,” said Brady. “BTX’s solutions eliminate some of the problems that installers face in the field, saving them both time and money. In addition, the company is committed to developing the expertise of its employees through training and certification programs to give its customers the best products and service. This is a winning combination.”

Brady will be based in Pennsylvania, reporting to Greg Schwartz.
