Capitol has appointed Jeff Schneider to technical support analyst, adding an additional level of background and expertise in the latest IT and IP integration.

“Like most of the team here at Capitol, Jeff started out on the dealer side of the business, including a stint as a product analyst for one of our customers [Midwest Home Media],” said Jeff Kussard, Capitol’s director of strategic development. “His bullet-proof knowledge of IT and IP technologies covers the gamut of nearly every related product in the field, making him an invaluable source when bringing on new lines or helping our customers install and work with some of the most advanced products in the business.”
Schneider brings a wealth of knowledge to his position at Capitol, as evidenced by his long list of industry certifications from companies, such as Panasonic, NEC, and Mitel.
In his new role, Schneider, who works in the company’s telecommunications technical support area, assists Capitol’s customers as they continue to integrate advanced digital communications technologies in multi-room and light commercial applications. In particular, his background, which includes 10 years as a telephone tech specialist for Deaton Communications (FL), allows Schneider to focus on the ways in which entertainment products.
“Telecommunications is an integral part of the IP mix, so it’s my job to make sure our customers are up to speed on the best products to specify for their respective assignments,” Schneider said. “It’s a pleasure to work for a distributor that is committed to being the ultimate resource in digital telecommunications products and service.”
