Capitol has revealed an expanded list of participants for the 2012 Capitol Learning Institute (CLI) Expo, scheduled for April 29 and 30 in Bloomington, MN.
Among the highlights will be a Panasonic training session designed to help installers and integrators maximize their sales and profits with the wide array of products offered by the consumer electronics giant.
“Panasonic is one of the most well recognized and respected brands in consumer electronics, so their name alone helps sell the end-user,” said Jeff Kussard, Capitol’s director of strategic development. “At the CLI Expo, Panasonic is going to show how attendees can leverage the power of that brand to make larger and more profitable sales.”
“As part of our session, we will offer an overview of the latest Panasonic products and the improvements we’ve made to our consumer electronics line for the year,” said Peter Erdman, VP of distributor and buying group sales, Panasonic Consumer Electronics Company. “These highlights will include improvements in our Viera LCD, LED, and Plasma lines, advances in our Home Theater and Blu-ray offerings, and how smartphones and tablets are viable options to controlling an entire system hinging on Panasonic products.
“But the key is how these products can be used to help installers and integrators sell larger systems and offer more installation opportunities, which will be the real focus of the session,” said Erdman.
The Panasonic training session – one of two being offered during the 2012 CLI Expo – will feature practical sales and marketing tips applicable across the company’s entire consumer electronics product line. Attendees will learn how to leverage the latest consumer trends, maximize their accessory and attachment sales, and which products offer them the best merchandising and sales opportunities. Panasonic will even provide demonstrations that attendees can use with their customers to get them excited about Panasonic and other products they sell.
In addition to Panasonic, the latest list of 2012 CLI Expo participants include Toshiba, Actiontec, Atlas Sound, Coleman, D-Tools, DVDO, EnGenius, Gefen, Harman Pro, iPort/Sound Advance, KEF, Lutron, Middle Atlantic, Mitsubishi, Monster, NEC, Niles, Onkyo, Panamax, Peerless, Pinnacle, QSC, Russound, Sanus, Sherwood, Shure, Universal Remote Control, Vutec, Wilson, Xantech, and ZeeVee.
