Capitol will use the occasion of the CEDIA EXPO in Indianapolis, September 5-8, (booth #4060), to focus a spotlight on how the company is helping professionals build business through an ever-expanding product line and an aggressive approach to education.

Curt Hayes, president and CFO of Capitol.

“Capitol’s success is inextricably linked to our dealers’ success, which is why we jump through hoops to give them the necessary resources for thriving in the current economy,” said Curt Hayes, president and CFO of Capitol. “As we head into CEDIA, you can be sure that any pro that takes part in our training and visits the booth will leave with a greater understanding of the opportunities that will spell success in the immediate future and beyond.”

Capitol’s booth will feature a 110-inch Mitsubishi video wall as part of its display. For in-booth presentations, it will have a Peerless U Board interactive white board, which is also a growing opportunity for PRO AV contractors as well.

Keeping with the show’s theme, one of the booth’s kiosks will be dedicated to networking products and IP based solutions. It will feature ActionTec’s Ethernet over existing coax or AC power, D-Link’s network routers and switches, EnGenius’ outdoor long-range access points, Panasonic’s IP network surveillance cameras, Panasonic and NEC’s IP based phone systems, Wilson Electronics’ fixed and mobile cellular booster antennas, Wi3’s Ethernet over existing Coax using Moca technology, and Xantech’s XtraNet IP enabled IR solution for home and PRO AV control systems.

A second kiosk will focus on the show’s other theme: residential applications. Among the new products featured here will be LaunchPort’s mounting and charging solutions for the new iPad, Russound’s digital media streamer with three independent streams plus AM/FM radio (an Apple-certified AirPlay accessory), and Pinnacle’s powered soundbars and subwoofers and outdoor rock speakers along with other new products that will be launched at the show.

Capitol will conduct five training classes at CEDIA Expo 2012: Digital Surveillance using IP Cameras, Digital Signage, Sound Masking and Video Conferencing; PRO AV Projectors & Screens; IP Based Phone Systems; and PRO AV Audio.

In addition, Capitol is the sponsor of the Hyatt Regency Hotel’s key cards, so any attendee staying at the Hyatt can stop by the booth to enter a drawing for a free online shopping spree worth up to $1,000. The company is also sponsoring the trade show bags available at registration.
