Capitol Unveils New Key Partnerships at EHX

Orlando, FL — Capitol Sales has signed an agreement with systems integration software firm, D-Tools Inc., to become the company’s new distribution partner for its SI5 Estimator software.

Under the terms of the agreement, Capitol Sales will be responsible for the sale and distribution of D-Tools System Integrator Estimator software throughout North America, providing detailed product line information to make it easier for SI5 Estimator users to generate fast, accurate proposals for their client engagements.

“This is a significant partnership for both companies as it will help to improve the productivity of our mutual customers,” said Adam Stone, president of D-Tools. “Capitol Sales has a long standing reputation as a progressive, forward thinking distributor and this partnership will enable us to significantly grow our market while providing our customers with an easier way to source products for their system integration projects. Together we are creating a more efficient proposal and purchasing engine which will help our mutual customers become more profitable. We are looking forward to a long, prosperous business alliance.”

“D-Tools’ S15 Estimator Software is without a doubt one of the best products out there for creating fast, accurate, professional proposals,” said Curt Hayes, president and CFO of sales for Capitol Sales Company. “At a time when every home theater, telephone and integrated home systems integrator is keeping a sharp eye on the bottom line, this product is one of the most important tools for helping them become more profitable. It’s the perfect complement to Capitol Sales Company’s top-shelf selection of practical business solutions.”

Capitol Sales has also brokered a deal with Panasonic to offer the manufacturer’s plasma and LCD TV solutions as a way for hotels, motels, inns, spas, convalescent homes and other hospitality centers to increase business in today’s challenging market. In addition to enticing new customers and retaining existing ones, the Panasonic sets also provide hospitality centers with cost savings, thanks to easy customization through plug-in boards, and out-of-the-box compatibility with the popular LodgeNet software for the hospitality industry.

“The hospitality market is quickly learning the value of upgrading in-room televisions to HDTV, especially now that consumers have widely adopted the format in their homes,” said Hayes. “With these Panasonic products, we’re able to provide the hospitality market with high quality television solutions that are easy to configure for any application and that are easy to integrate into both existing and new systems, which means less installation down time and more revenue.”

“We’re pleased to be working with Capitol Sales to extend our leadership in the hospitality sector,” said Andrew Nelkin, president of Panasonic Professional Display Company. “Our products provide great additional value to the hospitality guest, as well as reliability and convenience to the facility. Capitol Sales is an acknowledged leader in bringing quality products and services to the kinds of quality integrators and installers that we want to work with in the hospitality sector.”

Capitol Sales will offer three Panasonic hospitality HDTV models. Both the 42-inch TH42PR11UK and 37-inch TH37PR11UK models are plasma TVs, while the 32-inch TH32LR11UK is an LCD model.

The distributor has announced the first round of Capitol Sales Learning Institute—Regional Outreach program events. Following up on its commitment to redefine education efforts by broadening its reach Capitol’s new comprehensive education program launches next month and continues through November.

“We have always viewed education as the best weapon in a challenging economy, which is why we are offering an expanded version of our acclaimed Dealer Education and Technology Showcase,” said Hayes. “We see it as part of our mission to ensure that our customers are equipped with the best knowledge in the business. This year’s program is our most comprehensive yet, and we’re making sure that everyone has a chance to take part by bringing it to each one of our sales regions throughout the U.S.”
